The culture of a nation is the soul of a nation. Lately the culture of the United States has been on a downward spiral. Mississippi is not quite so far down the tubes as other areas, but if our present course is not corrected we will be in some pretty serious trouble.

Not all cultural problems can be solved by the legislature. The first step is changing the attitude of our fellow citizens, because the culture is nothing more than a consensus opinion of the people, either consciously or by default. Sometimes we let others capture control of the culture because we do not speak up when we should.

The buttons below will lead you to some position papers on cultural subjects which I believe are important enough to require some immediate attention by the citizenry, as well as to some which are merely informative.
